About

All-in Design is a creative studio specializing in the design and development of SOFUBI soft vinyl toys. By fusing art, street culture, and the essence of everyday life, we pursue new expressions and experiences that go beyond the boundaries of SOFUBI. We are always striving for innovation, creating works that resonate with the visual and emotional senses.

BLACKPEARLS is a soft vinyl toy brand created by artist Josh Wang. Since its founding in 2018, the brand has been creating works that explore the ambiguous boundaries between good and evil, justice and wickedness, based on the theme of "the complexity of human nature." Through original soft vinyl toys, the brand creates works that have artistic value and cultural messages, and also exhibits them in gallery spaces.

Josh Wang

CEO of All-in design Inc.

Born in 1991. Retro soft vinyl enthusiast. Feels most inspired between 1am and 4am.
After graduating with a major in graphic design, he gained two years of work experience at a Japanese advertising agency.
In 2018, he founded his own brand, "ALL-IN TOYS."
In the spring of 2019, he launched his original soft vinyl brand "BLACKPEARLS" and is currently active as a soft vinyl designer.

BLACKPEARLS opened its first gallery in Kanda, Tokyo, expanding its activities from online-based art toy sales to offline exhibitions. This opened up opportunities for BLACKPEARLS to connect with more art lovers and street culture fans, marking an important step in building a foundation for the brand in Japan.

In collaboration with Izumonster, a renowned artist in the Japanese soft vinyl scene, the brand held its first solo exhibition, "IZUMONSTER SOLO EXHIBITION." This marked the first public demonstration of the deep collaborative relationship between the brand and the artist, and also marked a major step in spreading the global SOFUBI art culture.

BPS collaborated with the famous Japanese street brand Punk Drunkers to hold a pop-up event, which demonstrated the brand's potential in the crossover between street fashion and art toys. The event attracted a lot of attention in the street culture community, further increasing awareness of the brand.

BPS collaborated with ATMOS, a top Japanese sneaker boutique, to release the collaborative model HAPY. This crossover fused art toys with sneaker culture, attracting the attention of a new demographic interested in fashion and art. This collaboration further expanded the brand's influence.

To provide a more artistic spatial experience, BLACKPEARLS has relocated its gallery to Harajuku, Tokyo. The new space is designed to offer visitors an immersive art experience, further increasing the brand's presence and influence in Tokyo, the mecca of street culture.

In collaboration with American artist Rich (MVH), BLACKPEARLS held the MVH SOLO EXHIBITION, demonstrating their steadily expanding presence and influence not only in Japan but also in the international art scene.

The BLACKPEARLS HK EXHIBITION, a solo exhibition by artist Josh Wang, was held at Stonevibe Gallery in Hong Kong. Art collectors and enthusiasts from around the world attended the exhibition, marking an important step in the brand's accelerating international expansion.

BLACKPEARLS teamed up again with Punk Drunkers to hold the "PUNK DRUNKERS x BLACKPEARLS EVENT: SLAM PUNK." They also opened a pop-up store at Codecorner Gallery in Thailand, attracting the attention of many local fans. This initiative significantly boosted the brand's presence in the Southeast Asian market.

BLACKPEARLS held the BEYOND | BPSxAKA TAIWAN EXHIBITION at AKA Gallery in Taiwan. This exhibition marked an important step for the brand as it lays the foundation for its full-scale entry into the Taiwanese market.

The "Duel Kingdom: BPS Taipei Card Game & Toy Exhibition" was held at the Misemono Gallery in Taiwan, providing an opportunity to inject new vitality into the brand's toy and card game culture.

To celebrate the brand's growth, BLACKPEARLS held a 5th anniversary exhibition, "A Festival of Angels and Demons," which looked back on the innovations and breakthroughs of the past five years and celebrated the brand's evolution.

Once again, Josh Wang's solo exhibition at Stonevibe Gallery in Hong Kong further strengthened the brand's global influence.

BLACKPEARLS held a solo exhibition of Izumonster at Ginger Gallery in Shanghai, further expanding the brand's influence in the Chinese market.

To further focus on their toy design and innovation, BLACKPEARLS has closed their Harajuku gallery and moved to a new office in Nerima, Tokyo, which will be the source of the brand's future creativity and innovation.
